Introduction
Welcome to Claudia. These Terms of Service govern your use of Claudia, the powerful GUI toolkit for Claude Code development, and our related services including downloads and support.
Important Disclaimer: We are an independent third-party distribution platform providing pre-built packages of the open source Claudia software. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the original Claudia project or its maintainers at getAsterisk. All software functionality, features, and support come from the original open source project.
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading or using Claudia, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Claudia. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Claudia Software Usage
What is Claudia
Claudia is an open source GUI application for Claude Code development that provides:
- Interactive session management with timeline and checkpoints
- Custom agent creation and deployment tools
- Secure sandbox environments for agent execution
- Built-in development tools and MCP server integration
License and Usage Rights
Claudia is licensed under AGPL-3.0:
- You may use, modify, and distribute the software according to license terms
- Commercial use is permitted under AGPL-3.0 requirements
- Derivative works must also be licensed under AGPL-3.0
- Source code is available for inspection and contribution
Your Responsibilities
When using Claudia, you agree to:
- Use the software in compliance with all applicable laws
- Respect the AGPL-3.0 license terms
- Take responsibility for your agent configurations and actions
- Secure your API keys and configuration data
- Follow responsible AI development practices
Acceptable Use
You may use Claudia for:

AI Provider Integration
Third-Party Services
Claudia integrates with various AI providers:
- You must comply with the terms of service of your chosen providers
- Your data will be processed by these third-party services
- We are not responsible for third-party provider actions or policies
- Service availability depends on third-party provider availability
Data and Privacy
When using AI providers through Claudia:
- Your data is sent directly to configured providers
- You are responsible for understanding provider privacy policies
- We do not access or process your AI interactions
- You control your API keys and configuration
Agent and Tool Usage
Custom Agent Development
When creating agents:
- You are responsible for agent behavior and outputs
- Ensure agents comply with applicable laws and guidelines
- Test agents in sandbox environments before production use
- Review and approve agent actions before execution
Security and Sandboxing
When using Claudia's security features:
- Configure appropriate permissions for your use case
- Regularly review security settings and logs
- Report security issues to the development team
- Maintain backups of important data
Intellectual Property
Software Rights
- Claudia is open source software owned by its contributors
- You retain rights to content you create using Claudia
- You must comply with AGPL-3.0 for any modifications

Your Content
- You retain ownership of your sessions, agents, and configurations

Limitation of Liability
Software Warranty

Termination

Effect of Termination

- AGPL-3.0 license obligations continue for any modifications

These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict of law provisions.
